Founded in Chattanooga, TN in 1992, The Adventure Guild began as an experiential education and recreation company serving local camps in the TN, GA, AL region. In the nearly 30 years since its inception, “The Guild” has grown into a multi-faceted challenge course services company, providing both expert level program services as well as world-class aerial adventure design, installation, and inspection services. We hold the distinction of being the only challenge course vendor in the industry to have successfully navigated two separate peer-reviewed, accreditation processes, and currently hold membership as an Accredited Vendor with The Association for Challenge Course Technology.
Company co-owners, Don Stock, Kim Stock and Rich Petteruti, have served in myriad leadership capacities within the challenge course industry, including as Board Members and Organizational Representatives for the Professional Ropes Course Association, Board / Panel / Committee chairs and committee members for the Association for Challenge Course Technology in the areas of standards development, government relations, ethics, certification and accreditation. Don serves as the aerial adventure representative on the Amusement Safety Advisory Board for the State of Florida. The Adventure Guild is also a founding member of The Alliance Collaborative, a non-profit collaborative fostering cooperation and efficiency within the aerial adventure industry, where Kim serves as a board member.
