Ropes/Challenge Courses
Group Sizes: 10-100 Possible Duration: 4-8 Hours
Price Range: Starts at $50 for ½ days $75 for full days per person
Description:
Ropes course programs allow organizations to address both personal and team growth issues. Low ropes challenges that include team-building initiatives as well as structural low ropes challenge elements, focus on collaboration, and highlight issues such as communication, problem-solving, roles, strategy, and more. Through the low ropes challenges, teams have many opportunities to grow interpersonally and as a group. The low ropes challenges lay the groundwork and provide the interpersonal support for the high challenge elements that come later in the program. The high ropes course changes focus to the individual, while highlighting the importance of team support in personal challenges. Here individuals explore trust, risk-taking, fear and more as they push past their established comfort zones. Participants often discover parallels between their fears and misgivings on the challenge course, and fears and misgivings that are holding them back in their personal and professional lives. All elements of the ropes course are processed with a view toward applying the concepts discovered through the challenge course, back in the workplace. Ropes courses can be half-day or full-day standalone programs, or can be part of a larger, more extensive program.
