In preparation for your upcoming Challenge Course Inspection the Adventure Guild has prepared a checklist to complete prior to scheduling the inspection. Taking the time to prepare for your inspection will be beneficial to you, the client, and to us as the inspector. This information will provide TAG with updated information that will help us provide a more comprehensive and complete inspection. This form must be filled out and returned prior to scheduling the inspection.
Please complete the contact information above. Please note any changes or concerns. Form must be submitted annually.
As part of a good Risk Management plan, the following systems and documentation should be in place for your challenge course program:
If you would like TAG to review these documents/systems, please make them available the day of inspection. If you do not currently have some or all of these documents and systems in place for your program, we would be happy to provide document development services for your program for an additional fee.
Please return an updated itemized list of your gear inventory, including date purchased, with this form.
At time of inspection, please provide updated Rope Log with easily identifiable ropes.
OPTIONAL AGREEMENT FOR MINOR REPAIRS:
Sometimes minor repairs are necessary in order to keep a challenge course in passing condition. If company/camp chooses, TAG can provide up to $250.00 in repairs at the time of inspection without consultation, if simple repairs are necessary. This agreement saves time and effort and could make the difference in an element being usable or not usable for your program between the time that an inspection is done and repairs can be accomplished. Opting out of this agreement would require a return trip to make repairs and due to our busy inspection schedule it is not always easy or possible for TAG to return to make the repair in a timely manner. This could mean your element/course may remain unusable in the interim, causing programming issues for your organization.
Common repairs:
We will provide a list of any materials and labor costs for these types of repairs. If repair(s) exceed the $250.00 limit we will consult with organization to obtain contract for the repair(s) needed.
The Adventure Guild (TAG) is hereby permitted to do up to $250.00 in minor repairs.
SCHEDULING YOUR INSPECTION
TAG office will contact you with any additional questions and to schedule the inspection. (On occasion, an inspection may not be possible to schedule due to time constraints. Your organization will be notified quickly if this is the case so that you have time to contract with another vendor.) Once scheduled, an inspection contract with confirmation of dates will be sent. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions. We look forward to serving you and your organization!
